Meet the Real Boss of the Boatshed The managing director of what was the Two Dog Café is now our one remaining chocolate labrador, Ella. She's pretty much in charge of everything and knows everything that's going on. The rest of us are just her workers. We wait on her paw and foot while she makes sure we run things to her exacting standards. Her duties, of course, are entirely self-imposed and include:	The ever elegant Ella in repose.



keeping a very close eye on the menu watching over the kayaks and the kayakers with eagle eyes making sure all the Café customers are behaving themselves inspecting the grounds regularly to make sure they are kept up to scratch sniffing and taste-testing menu items whenever possible making sure the fireside is being kept at the perfect temperature sometimes even lowering herself to personally assist with leftover food disposal at times . Not long ago, Ella had a mate called Hazel who died recently. Because of the two of them this place was sometimes known as the "Two Dog Café" as much as it was known by that other name. Perhaps one day it will be a "Two Dog Cafe" again, but for now, sadly, Ella must assume full control alone.
