Fish Stringer - $49.00
Serves two purposes. The primary purpose is to secure your catch to the kayak; the secondary purpose is to provide a convenient way of sliding your catch into the rear well.
Comes with stainless steel clip for either end. The style of clip allows the stringer wire to be detached and reattached one handed. The other hand will be holding the fish or the Gaff (holding the fish). The wire is a 316 stainless steel to minimize corrosion; the stringer cord is crimped in place for maximum strength and to allow it to pass through the fish with minimal resistance.
|
| The cord is long enough to accommodate a reasonable number of fish. In use the stringer is threaded up through the gills and out through the mouth and re-clipped to the deck. With the other end clipped in the well this secures the catch to the kayak. To get the fish into the well it is simply a process of placing your catch back in the water, sliding it along the cord, and then porpoising back over the side into the well.

Rod Leash - $29.00
Designed to keep rod and paddle attached to the kayak so there is no chance of losing your ‘expensive investment’.
Convenient easy to use totally reliable attachment system. Brass snap clip allows rapid attachment and relocation around the kayak. The shock cord body eliminates the risk of a sudden jolt unbalancing the paddler in the event of the cord becoming tangled. The end loop eliminates the need for Velcro type fastenings (that may not operate correctly if choked with sand). In the event of an extreme roll over the shock cord will break minimizing the risk of injury if the paddler becomes tangled.

Insulated Rear Well Cover - $149.00
Designed to keep your catch cool and out of direct sunlight. Serves a secondary purpose in big seas by stopping your catch being flushed overboard. Front attachment points use shock cord to allow the cover to move to cover your catch. Foam core for excellent insulation, Nylon reinforced PVC for strength and durability. White for maximum reflection. Pocket on top of the cover will hold a sea anchor or grapnel anchor for hassle free storage.

Kayaker's Gaff with Foam Float - $49.00
Designed specifically for the kayaker. This gaff has a stainless steel hook, slim aluminum shaft, and a waterproof non slip grip. Lightweight, and with foam float attached this gaff will float if lost overboard. This eliminates the need to tie the Gaff to the kayak.
The slim shaft and grip improve dexterity making it easy to use one handed. This also makes it easier to move through the water when gaffing ‘speedsters’ such as tuna.
Stainless steel and aluminum construction minimizes maintenance. The length allows big fish to be landed without the gaff becoming unwieldy.

Gaff Holder - $15.00
Closed cell foam design reliably holds the gaff without the need to drill holes for fitting. In the event of roll over this design minimizes the risk of the gaff injuring the paddler.
This item needs to be attached to the kayak using Ados F3 contact adhesive.
Note: Ados F3 is not supplied with this item

Anchor Running Rig - $149.00
Also known as the trolley system.
Heavy duty free running design for controlling anchors and drift chutes along the side of the kayak from bow to stern. Specially designed for big fish and big water, makes recovering the drift chute (sea anchor) or anchor (grapnel) back on board a breeze.
Uses top quality marine yachting hardware and Dynema rope throughout. Includes 316 stainless steel machine screws, fastening systems, ringed saddles, pulley blocks, and quick links.
|
| The Dynema rope reduces the amount of kayak rebound on the anchor or drift chute in choppy conditions. The 5mm diameter allows for easy handling in cold conditions without being too bulky.

Sea Anchor - $125.00
Also known as the drogue. Heavy duty construction using marine rated materials. These drift chutes are specifically designed for kayak fishing.
They feature a free sliding bridle system allowing the kayak to swing in the wind without upsetting or collapsing the drift chute. The foam float at the tail of the drift chute keeps it on the surface and working correctly, minimizing the risk of it sinking and causing the bow to dip unexpectedly in step chop or boat wakes. It also stops it sinking and fouling fishing lines.
Normally deployed off the bow the drift chute brings the kayak almost to a complete stop.
|
The slow drift sternwards is used to keep line angles in front of the kayaker. After hooking up on a large fish the running rig is used to swap the drift chute to the stern. This will keep the kayak pointing down the line pull and allows the angler to apply maximum line pressure to land the fish.
If the fish swims to the side and the line angle changes, the kayak held by the drift chute will drag sideways and continue to point down the line pull. This keeps the kayak pointed in the right direction for the angler to apply maximum pressure.
This helps minimize the chances of having to fight a fish directly over the side causing the kayak to become unstable.
Designed to stow easily behind the seat or in the pocket of the insulated well cover. Instructions.

Grapnel Anchor set - $89.00
The anchor is made specifically for kayaking, with long easy to bend prongs (in contrast to ordinary grapnel anchors with prongs too stiff to straighten). The design takes into account the relatively light pressure a kayaker can exert to recover the anchor from the bottom. This minimizes anchor loss in kelpy or rocky conditions.
4 metres of 5mm galvanized chain is used to ensure the anchor will hold even when deployed on sand.
|
The floating rope is used to make anchor recovery easier. Simply haul the anchor straight to the surface and lay the rope on the water on the other side of the kayak. Once the chain and anchor are on board it is a simple process to wind the floating rope off the water onto the anchor board.
The floating rope is attached to the anchor board with an open loop and this loop is used as the attachment point for the running rig.
Designed to stow easily behind the seat or in the pocket of the insulated well cover. Instructions |
